Year 2 Art

Last term, Year 2 enjoyed learning about the technique of foreshortening in Art.

We completed self-portraits that created the illusion of us falling into the background.

We had to think about our individual features like eye colour, hairstyle and clothing.

Each of us chose our own background. Some of these were outer space, under the ocean and Candyland.

We used pencil to draw our designs and then finished by adding vibrant colour using oil pastels.
